FIRST GAME : WHAT IS THAT CARD?

 WHAT IS THAT CARD?

The name of this game is “What is that card?”

1.     In this game we need a card for each word.(We need 10 cards / 10 words)

2.     The cards will face down to the table or on the ground.

3.     This game will be played with two pairs at home or two groups at school.

4.     One of the family members will ask “what is that card?”

5.     The students will guess the first card.

6.     If he or she tells the card correctly, he or she tries to guess the another closed card.

7.     If he or she doesn’t guess the second card, start playing again with the first card.

8.     When all cards are known correctly, the game finish.(repetition makes learning better)

Our Game Instructions (To-do list)

Teacher; Introduce the game to students then give the words and then send theirs PDF if you have, give the pronunciation of them, play it together for the first time.

Student; Play it at home with member of family and take some photos or video while playing.

Teacher; The next lesson student and teacher play it once more and have fun. ( as a teacher we have these own cards, teacher shows that card and ask, What is that card?)

Student;  Write a dialogue related with the words and teachers guide them by giving structures. At the end they act out the dialogue with the partner.

              6. watch TV   7. do homework   8. get dressed   9. go to bed   10. go online

We played wordwall game altogether.My eTwinners' family members joined our game and they encouraged their son /daughter.We had fun so much.It was an entertaining evening for us.

My little eTwinners played 'What's that card ?' with their family members. They learned, practiced the words. And also their family members learned the words😀😀

We also practiced the word cards on Wordwall Web 2.0 tool. It was very challenging👌
